Sdam strategically saw the light through the processing of one of the most important pieces of information in the world of sport: the result.
As a matter of fact it has been since its birth the official Italian distributor of ChampionChip, the electronic timing system leader in the world for mass events.
This gave Sdam the chance to operate in a peculiar context: the sport field. The sport event is the environment connecting the relationship among the several individuals involved in the sport practice: athletes, teams, sport bodies, sponsors, media, territorial bodies.
Today Sdam offers call center, timing and marketing services; Sdam sells and rents electronic timing instruments, publishes results and advertisement material for athletes on its own site and moreover conducts an on-line registration service which can be exploited by both sportsmen and organizers. Sdam supplies database marketing services for organizers, companies and every “body” interested in the world of sport.
In 2005 Sdam was present with its solutions on 125 events: marathons, road cycling, mtb, triathlon and duathlon races, alpine and northern ski, roller competitions.
There are more than 40.000 Italian sportsmen owing a transponder ChampionChip whose distributor is Sdam.
In a few years Sdam has collected a great deal of data concerning the athletes, sport teams and sport events: a burden of information making us able to operate effective actions of direct and interactive communication towards the addressees.
The activity of Sdam is living a period of increasing development due to new services, new products, new sport sectors which are already being studied and tested while other ones can be customized.
